Dr. Kristin LH Ochs, DC
I’m Dr. Kristin Ochs (pronounced like the tree—“oaks”). You can call me Dr. Ochs, or Kristin - but never Dr. Kristin (for some reason I hate that one). I’m passionate about helping people live their best lives. Before becoming a chiropractor, I built a career in fitness as a personal trainer and later as a Fitness & Nutrition Director for a national gym. I worked closely with special populations, using my certification in corrective exercise to help people regain function and independence. Witnessing the body’s amazing ability to heal and thrive when given the proper support is what inspired me to pursue further education in human biology and chiropractic care.
I earned both my B.S. and Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. In practice since 2013, I combine chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitative exercise, craniosacral therapy, and lifestyle modifications to help each patient reach their fullest potential. My goal is never to take away the things people love—I’d much rather work with my patients to adapt and modify until they’re able to return fully to the activities that bring them joy.
I grew up in Visalia and, after 20 years away, I’m thrilled to be back and serving the community that raised me. Creating a safe, inclusive space is deeply important to me, and I’m committed to making sure everyone feels welcome in my office, including members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
Outside the clinic, I’m a proud mom of a medically fragile kiddo, a devoted wife, a yoga enthusiast, and (admittedly) a terrible gardener. And if there’s a karaoke mic nearby—you can bet I’ll be singing my heart out.

After leaving a corporate career to follow my true calling, I discovered the healing power of massage therapy and the way it connects body, mind, and soul. What began as a personal journey soon became a passion to help others heal, release, and reconnect with themselves through intentional touch and holistic care.
My work blends therapeutic bodywork and energetic healing to restore harmony on every level. I’m trained in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Facial Reflexology, and other integrative techniques designed to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing rhythms.
Having personally experienced deep grief and trauma, I understand how both the body and spirit hold on to pain. I also know firsthand the physical and emotional exhaustion that comes from burnout and the constant demands of daily life. My goal is to help clients slow down, release tension, and restore balance—so they can return to their lives feeling recharged, clear, and at ease in their own bodies.
Massage is more than just physical—it’s a pathway to emotional release, nervous system regulation, and reconnection with self. I strive to create a safe, nurturing space where clients can truly rest, reset, and leave feeling lighter, freer, and more at home in their body than when they arrived.
